Job Description

A local restaurant group in NYC is in search of a Hospitality HR Manager. Our ideal candidate should bring extensive Human Resources experience, possess keen attention to detail, and be dedicated to the personal development of each team member. Proficiency in payroll processing software (ADP) is a must, along with HRCI and/or SHRM Certification. The salary ranges from 100K to 110K, and the position is not remote. Franchise experience and familiarity with the hospitality setting are advantageous. Join a thriving brand with a great culture and benefits, spanning over 300 units nationwide.


Responsibilities of the HR Manager:


- Effectively handle various employee relations issues and oversee HR investigations with fairness and objectivity

- Take the lead in creating offer letters, facilitating new hire onboarding, and managing the payroll department

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws

- Guarantee equitable treatment of all team members in the workplace

- Acquire new vendors for employee benefits


Qualifications of the HR Manager:


- Minimum of 5 years in a similar HR role

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field

- Knowledge of COBRA and FMLA

- Experience with payroll systems

- Previous experience in the restaurant industry
