We are looking for a Solar Design Engineer to join our growing team of professionals dedicated to alternative forms of energy. If you have experience working in solar design and field engineering, we'd love to speak with you!

Solar Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design residential and commercial PV systems based on survey data and field visits
• Work with survey teams to improve processes
• Create detailed instructions for installation crews and make site visits during the construction phase
• Execute design calculations per client requests and local building codes
• Create layouts for proposals to prospective clients

Solar Design Engineer Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering is strongly preferred
• Must have solar design experience, including pre-construction and construction phase field experience
• Knowledge of electrical design theory with solar projects
• NABCEP solar design certification is preferred
• Strong computer proficiency and experience with CAD, Aurora Solar, and Helioscope are preferred
