Job Description
Our client in SAN DIEGO CA is seeking an accomplished Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef ready to take the next professional step, with a passion for the highest quality food and hospitality, if you have a trained palette, and are an expert in delivering excellent guest experiences, we would like to meet with you.

Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
- Lead creative, working closely with ownership to organize, plan, and direct all culinary activities
- Be a hands-on leader, creating systems and driving execution to spec.
- Guide a five-star guest experience with your team.
- Develop all direct reports, setting all performance expectations.
- Be a brand champion for our standards and offerings.
Chef de Cuisine Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience as a Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Sous Chef leading a small team in an upscale casual, or fine dining at the James Beard or Michelin Star Level
- Previous Chef-driven and scratch kitchen experiences required.
- Must be self-motivated, and demonstrate the ability to take initiative.
- Experience with cost management, inventory management, and training tools.
- Experience managing vendor and corporate relationships with integrity.
- Consistently inspire and guide direct reports.
