We are currently searching for a Civil Project Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering practice. The ideal candidate will be an experienced civil engineer looking to grow within the private land development space.

Civil Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• Preparation of site development plans for large and small scale residential, commercial, industrial, multi-use complexes, master-planned communities, and business parks
• Preparation of construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports, and other project documents
• Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application
• Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Research regulatory requirements, and design standards
• Perform detailed and complex calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
• Work with drafters, designers, and administrative staff to complete projects in a timely manner and within budgets

Civil Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• California State PE license
• 3+ years of local site development design; residential development experience highly desirable
• AutoCAD Civil 3D including the use of grading tools and the creation of alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces

Civil Project Engineer Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary of $90-115K, based on experience
• Bonus potential
