Job Description
Fast-growing restaurant group based in the Northern Indianapolis suburbs is seeking an experienced Corporate Restaurant Controller to lead a small team of accounting professionals and provide guidance to executive leadership in all matters relating to the financial operation of the company restaurants. Ideal candidates have a strong background in accounting with accounting experience in restaurants or hotels.

Restaurant Controller Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification a plus
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting management experience
- Hospitality/ Restaurant experience preferred
- A high degree of fluency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Restaurant Controller Responsibilities:
- Timely creation of financial analysis reports including weekly reporting, internal and external monthly financial statements for all businesses in the organization
- Responsible for leading the annual audit and budget process
- Oversee accounts payable - purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Accounts Receivable - Management of all billing, cash receipts, and weekly cash flow analysis
- Corporate tax compliance - ensure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate tax filings
- Responsible for liquor licenses and permits
- Establish and maintain all systems and controls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
